Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse position available in Anderson, Indiana. Job Details

• Location: Anderson, Indiana
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, experience in progressive care or telemetry nursing, strong critical thinking skills, clinical judgment, ability to manage complex patient conditions, and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cardiac, neuro/stroke, dialysis, post-operative care, respiratory, general medical-surgical overflow units
• Additional Information: The RN will provide direct patient care for patients requiring telemetry, frequent monitoring, and specialized interventions. Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration (including IV medications), management of devices such as telemetry monitors, IV lines, central lines, oxygen therapy, and high-flow oxygen devices. The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patient and family education, documentation, and activation of rapid response when necessary.
