School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, CO

Step into a rewarding role providing essential speech and language services within a vibrant school community in the Denver area. This part-time contract position focuses on serving students at a single school, supporting a mild-to-moderate caseload of learners. You’ll work two full days per week, dedicating your expertise to helping students achieve their communication goals in a collaborative and supportive environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of May 2027, offering long-term continuity for both you and the students you impact. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Speech‑Language Pathology Active Colorado Department of Education Certification Current Colorado SLP License (Speech‑Language Pathologist, Speech Connectionist, or Speech Therapist, ages birth–21) School‑based SLP experience preferred Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills Ability to complete detailed background check and fingerprinting Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with mild‑to‑moderate speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational teams Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district requirements Serve as a resource for staff and parents regarding speech and language development Support students across varying grade levels within the assigned school This position provides a structured, predictable schedule with meaningful part‑time hours, ideal for work‑life balance while making a significant difference in the lives of students.
