POSITION: Event Setup & Facilities Attendant
LOCATION: Lakeland, FL (RP Funding Center)
PAY RATE: $14.00 per hour - PART TIME
SCHEDULE: Flexible; hours and shifts vary. Must be available for irregular hours, overnights, weekends, and on-call assignments.

Position Summary

We are seeking dependable, detail-oriented team members to assist with event setup, breakdown, and facility cleaning at a busy event center. A significant portion of this role involves maintaining and servicing women’s restrooms and women’s locker room facilities during and after events. Candidates must be professional, respectful, and comfortable working in these designated areas to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests.

This position plays a vital role in guest experience, cleanliness standards, and event execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Facility Cleaning & Maintenance
- Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including event spaces, storage areas, and designated women’s restrooms and locker rooms
- Perform janitorial duties before, during, and after events
- Maintain cleanliness of staging, storage, and common areas
- Remove soiled linens and dispose of waste appropriately
- Continually monitor and ensure patron and staff safety throughout the venue
- Event Setup & Breakdown
- Set up and tear down event spaces according to event orders
- Arrange tables, chairs, linens, décor, buffets, stages, podiums, and dance floors
- Assist with draping tables and placing décor
- Remove and properly store centerpieces, décor, tables, and chairs after events
- Follow event orders and layout diagrams accurately
- Assist banquet staff with clearing tables as needed
- Assist A/V team with basic equipment setup

General Duties
- Maintain, assemble, and store facility equipment
- Attend required department meetings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage rooms
- Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
- Ability to frequently lift 50–75 lbs
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Flexible schedule availability (including nights, weekends, and on-call shifts)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and comfort servicing designated women’s restroom and locker room facilities
