Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist II for its Electrophysiology business to provide engineering, technical, and educational support on cardiac devices. The role bridges clinical teams and internal business units, requiring expertise in electrophysiology procedures and independent problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, sales, and technical support responding to field inquiries on EP products
- Develop and lead training programs for healthcare professionals on electrophysiology products
- Deliver regional procedural case coverage and support sales representatives with demonstrations and seminars
- Provide clinical feedback and market insights to guide next-generation product development
- Remain current on regulatory requirements, competitor offerings, and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related healthcare field
- Minimum two years cardiac pacing industry experience with increasing responsibility
- Knowledge of cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac electrophysiology procedures
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac pacing systems and ability to interpret complex clinical problems
- Familiarity with catheterization lab and operating room procedures
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with comprehensive computer proficiency
- Ability to obtain vendor credentialing and meet vaccination requirements
