Job Specifications: Starting Wage: $21.00/hr - $26.40/hr Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift Type: Full Time and Part Timehours available Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: No Job Responsibilities: Upholding the highest levels of guest and personal safety on varied terrain at high altitude, with varying winter weather conditions. Clearly and accurately instructing assigned levels of skiing to students, both physically and verbally. Ensuring that athletes are matched toappropriate skierskill level and working with supervisors/managers tomakeappropriate changeswhen necessary. Assistingguests to load and unload the chairlift. Clearly communicating instructions andassistingathletes during training sessions and at competitions; liftingchildren by the vest (if applicable). Supervising athletes in training at alltimes;ensuringthe returnof athletes toidentifiedguardians. Assistingin operational responsibilities of competition service and relatedSki and Ride School (SRS)programs including but not limited to registration process, directing athletes toappropriate equipmentfitting source, upkeep of outdoortraining areas, and cleanliness of facilities. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: PSIA/AASI Level 2 and/or USSS/FIS Level 200 certification High School or Equivalent Education Attend Ski and Ride training sessions Must be fluent in all aspects of the English language (spoken and written) Must have excellent guest service skills Must have excellent communication skills Must work well in a team Must be able to work in inclement weather in a high alpine environment Must have sight, speech, and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills, follow and provide directions Must be available to work holidays and weekends Must be able to lift, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reachfrequently Preferred Skills: Previousexperience with teaching/coaching/mentoring Experience coaching experience of winter sports athletes of all ages Previousski/snowboard coaching experience Knowledge of local area/resort The expected pay range is$21.00/hr - $26.40/hr.
