Area Supervisor (District Manager) – Quick Service Restaurants

Location: Multiple restaurant locations within a designated territory

$65,000-95,000 / year, based on experience

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Area Supervisor (District Manager) to oversee operations across multiple quick-service restaurant locations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food service, multi-unit management, team leadership, and operational execution.

This role is responsible for driving consistent performance across locations while maintaining high standards for customer service, food quality, food safety, and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be passionate about developing people, building strong teams, and ensuring each restaurant operates at its highest potential.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee daily operations across assigned restaurant locations, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

* Train, coach, mentor, and develop restaurant teams and management staff to improve performance and support professional growth.

* Implement and reinforce training programs focused on customer service excellence, food safety, and operational efficiency.

* Review and approve restaurant schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels during peak business hours.

* Monitor inventory, oversee ordering, control food costs, and minimize waste.

* Partner with management teams to identify opportunities for improving restaurant performance, service quality, and operational results.

* Address customer concerns and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.

* Ensure consistent execution of operational standards across all assigned locations.

* Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that promotes accountability, collaboration, and employee development.

* Travel regularly between restaurant locations within the designated territory to support operations and maintain standards.

Qualifications & Experience

* Minimum of two years of multi-unit management experience in the food service industry, preferably within quick-service or fast-food restaurants.

* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop diverse teams.

* Demonstrated experience in staffing, training, employee development, and implementing effective operational procedures.

* Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, including the ability to handle challenging situations professionally.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Experience managing restaurant shifts and maintaining smooth operations during high-volume periods.

* Solid understanding of restaurant operations, inventory management, food safety, and service standards.

* Ability to travel between multiple restaurant locations within an assigned territory.

Schedule & Work Requirements

* Primarily day shifts required

* Some weekend work required

* Approximately 50 hours per week, over 5.5 days

* Travel between multiple restaurant locations within the designated territory is required
