Job Description

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Detroit and surrounding areas of MI. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients in a home care setting, ensuring their comfort, health, and well-being.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes following established care plans and protocols.
Assess patient health conditions, monitor vital signs, and report changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and care procedures.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
Minimum of 1-2 years nursing experience, preferably in home care or a related field.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to patient homes.
