The Neurosurgery Department at our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified neurosurgeon who possesses extensive training in both cranial and spinal surgery. This individual will take on the role of Associate Director of Neurosurgery for the Western Region. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in the ongoing growth of a dynamic department and the enhancement of neurosurgical services across the Western area of our network. Our Neurosurgery Department boasts excellent collaboration with orthopedics and an integrated pain management practice, along with substantial institutional resources already designated for both inpatient and outpatient expansion. This position uniquely blends community neurosurgery with a significant academic presence, and subspecialty interests will receive strong support.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic planning and management of the Western network.
- Maintain an effective community-based surgical practice focused on cranial and spinal conditions.
- Teach and mentor neurosurgical residents.
- Enhance knowledge in the field by implementing best practices in patient care.
- Eligibility to secure an active medical license in New York.
- A demonstrated passion and proven history in clinical care and program development are essential for this role.
