Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Burlingame, California. This role involves performing routine and specialized sonography procedures of moderate complexity to produce high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. The position requires working independently with sound clinical judgment, providing exceptional patient assessment and communication, and adhering to all regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and privacy.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, minimum 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or possession of ARDMS (American Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification, along with BLS (Basic Life Support) Healthcare Provider certification. Must hold two of the following: AB (Abdomen) certification, BR (Breast) certification, FE (Fetal Echocardiography) certification, OB/GYN (Obstetrics & Gynecology), PS (Pediatric Sonography), or RVT (Registered Vascular Technician).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of recent relevant experience in ultrasonography.
  • Additional Information: Must be proficient in diagnostic sonography principles and equipment, with solid knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential. Familiarity with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare information systems (EHR, RIS, PACS) is required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.
