Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location

This position is located in a reputable Women's Hospital in Arlington, TX.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in high-risk obstetrics and demonstrate a strong ability to maintain patient care standards under pressure. The unit consists of 23 beds with a dynamic team that provides comprehensive care for mothers and infants.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk obstetric care, including medication drips (magnesium, insulin).
• Assist with delivery and surgical interventions as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to emergencies effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of travel experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery.
• Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BLS.
• Intermediate fetal monitoring skills.
• Preferred experience in OBED and high-volume settings.
