As a Security Officer Part Time Access Operations in Woodstock, AL , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour Job Schedule Sun: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor and contractor entry records, issuing access materials as authorized, and directing guests to appropriate areas. Respond to access-control concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, parking areas, production-related spaces, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns. Maintain accurate logs and complete required incident reports, shift activity reports, and access-related documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
