Risk Manager

Our client is a global technology leader operating one of the world’s most complex and sophisticated manufacturing supply chains. As the organization continues an ambitious growth trajectory, they are seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Risk to build and lead an integrated risk management program across a rapidly expanding global supplier network. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced supply chain risk professional who can move beyond traditional supplier management and establish a comprehensive, end-to-end risk framework that supports executive decision-making, supply continuity, and long-term business resilience. Opportunity Reporting to senior supply chain leadership, this individual will be responsible for developing and advancing an enterprise-wide supply chain risk strategy that provides a unified view of supplier, operational, financial, geopolitical, sustainability, and business continuity risks. The successful candidate will inherit and lead an established sustainability team while helping shape the future direction of the broader risk organization. This role offers significant executive visibility and the opportunity to influence sourcing strategy across a multi-billion-dollar global supply base. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide supply chain risk management program. Create an integrated framework for identifying, assessing, prioritizing, and mitigating supplier and supply chain risks. Develop executive-level dashboards, reporting, and governance processes that provide clear visibility into risk exposure and mitigation activities. Assess supplier risks including capacity constraints, financial health, operational resilience, business continuity, geopolitical exposure, technology maturity, and regional concentration. Partner closely with sourcing, supplier management, engineering, operations, legal, compliance, sustainability, and business continuity teams. Drive risk mitigation strategies including dual sourcing, regional diversification, inventory strategies, supplier development, and contingency planning. Lead supply chain sustainability initiatives, including supplier compliance, responsible sourcing, conflict minerals, emissions programs, and related ESG initiatives. Manage and develop a team responsible for sustainability and supplier risk programs. Continuously identify emerging risks and develop proactive strategies to improve supply chain resilience. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, sourcing, supplier management, business continuity, risk management, or related functions. Proven experience designing, implementing, or scaling supply chain risk and resilience programs. Strong understanding of supplier risk assessment, business continuity planning, financial risk evaluation, geopolitical risk, and operational resilience. Experience presenting risk insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders. Demonstrated success influencing cross-functional teams in a matrixed global environment. Previous people leadership experience, including team development and performance management. Familiarity with sustainability, ESG, responsible sourcing, conflict minerals, or supplier compliance programs is highly desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr Kerry Search Partners
