They are responsible for efficiently processing high volumes of accounts payable transactions, ensuring accuracy in invoice coding, vendor reconciliations, and payment processing. It involves maintaining up-to-date vendor records, managing weekly and monthly payment cycles, and responding promptly to vendor inquiries./ppKey responsibilities include:/pulliProvide administrative and operational support to the department/liliMaintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting/liliSupport compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards/liliProcess all accounts payable invoices into the accounting system/liliProcess weekly check run and upload checks in to Positive Pay/liliEnsure all processed invoices are scanned into accounting system/liliEnsure that all appropriate staff are entered and/or terminated in company fuel program/liliCommunicate with people outside the organization, representing the organization to customers, the public and other external sources. This information can be exchanged in person, in writing, or by telephone or e-mail/liliProvide information to supervisors, co-workers, and/or others by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person/li/ulpRequirements:/ppEducation:/ppRequired: High School Diploma/ppPreferred: Associate degree/ppExperience Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
