Systems Engineer with Human Factors

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the Systems Engineer with Human Factors will manage systems engineering activities throughout the product development lifecycle, including requirements definition, system architecture, and human factors assessments. Key responsibilities Define, execute, and document engineering findings while driving closure of action items Develop and maintain system architecture and design documentation, ensuring compliance with certification standards Perform requirements management using tools like Polarion or IBM DOORS and support Human Factors Assessments Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Experience in Systems Engineering and knowledge of system certification processes Familiarity with requirements management tools such as Polarion or IBM DOORS Experience performing Human Factors Assessments per AMC 29.1302 Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with complex engineering programs
