About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Officer to provide leadership and support for all credit department operations. The successful candidate will be a key member of the bank's leadership team, responsible for managing credit policy and performance across various credit types. This role involves leading the credit team, ensuring the quality of the lending portfolio, and conducting high-quality credit analysis. The Chief Credit Officer will also be involved in portfolio stress testing, loan growth goals, and coordinating external loan audits. Additionally, the position requires the ability to manage special assets, maintain relationships with the SBA, and present loan information to the Board of Directors. Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 10 years' of work experience in financial/credit analysis and lending. Management experience is essential, with a preference for candidates who have a background in loan workouts and SBA experience. The role demands a professional with the ability to create and analyze credit-related documents, interpret business and regulatory information, and make strategic decisions to mitigate credit risk.
