Are you passionate about theater and enjoy inspiring young performers? We are seeking a creative, energetic, and engaging Youth Theater & Acting Instructor to lead an exciting theater program!
The instructor will introduce students to the fundamentals of acting through fun, interactive lessons that build confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork. Participants will explore character development, improvisation, voice projection, movement, stage presence, storytelling, and basic performance techniques while working together in a supportive and encouraging environment. The program may culminate in an informal showcase where students can demonstrate the skills they've learned throughout the week.

- Age Group: 11 - 14 years old

Responsibilities
- Plan and lead engaging theater and acting lessons for youth participants.
- Teach acting fundamentals, including improvisation, character development, voice projection, movement, and stage presence.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, confidence, and teamwork through theater activities and games.
- Prepare students for an optional end-of-week performance or informal showcase.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment where all students feel comfortable participating.
- Supervise students throughout the program and ensure their safety and well-being.
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and program coordinators.
- Arrive prepared with lesson plans, scripts, props, or other instructional materials as needed.
