Parts Logistics Driver

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join us as a full-time Parts Assistant with the flexibility to serve as a backup driver on occasion. Your primary focus will be ensuring the meticulous organization and efficient operation of our busy parts department.

• A tech-savvy person comfortable using basic technology to support inventory and organization.
• A physically capable individual comfortable with tasks such as breaking down boxes and some lifting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primarily responsible for the meticulous organization and maintenance of the parts department. This includes ensuring everything is in its proper place, easily accessible, and well-maintained.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including regular sweeping and emptying trash.
• Efficiently breaking down cardboard boxes for recycling.
• Demonstrating exceptional attention to detail in all organizational and cleaning tasks.
• Eagerly learning about a wide variety of parts across different trades to become a knowledgeable resource.
• Occasionally, serving as a backup driver for local deliveries and pickups when needed.
• Performing physical tasks that may include twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Standing for extended periods while organizing and managing the parts area.
• Utilizing basic technology for inventory management or communication.
• Other organizational and support duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the department.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• A strong drive for organization and a keen eye for detail.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn about various trades parts (for entry-level candidates).
• OR, previous experience with parts and a natural inclination towards organization (for experienced/retired candidates).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting over 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with technology.
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
