Project Manager

Project Manager - IT/PPBEMANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager - IT/PPBE to join our team in Tampa, Florida. This position will be full time and is required to work on-site at customer location at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met.Lead collaboration between customers and project stakeholders to define project requirements, ensuring alignment with overall program goals while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.Drive project execution by monitoring progress, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Direct all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, staffing, and budgeting, to ensure the timely and successful delivery of contractual commitments.Mentor and supervise program/project teams, managing resource allocation and driving performance to meet and exceed goals.Establish and enforce work standards, manage contractor schedules, and resolve discrepancies to ensure quality and accountability.Continuously interact with the Government leadership to provide project status updates, present interim results, discuss concerns, and ensure total service satisfaction.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline, or 8 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.10+ years of experience as a project manager, preferably within the IT or Government contracting sector.Proven experience managing software development projectsDirect experience with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process within U.S. federal government agencies.Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scaled Agile).Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience implementing Federal financial management systems such as OneStream (highly preferred), Hyperion, or other Corporate Performance Management platformsMaster's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience with various government contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M).Advanced certifications, such as those related to Agile methodologies (e.g., CSM, SAFe).Experience presenting project status, risks, and proposals to general staff or senior executive-level government officials.Clearance Requirements:Must have a current/active Top Secret security clearance and may be required to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.Physical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situationsConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
