Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit serving an adult to geriatric population with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients within a 36-room unit averaging a daily census of 35
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation and Pyxis for medication management; apply SBAR communication standards
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Work every other weekend as scheduled and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment policy
• Complete all required orientation modules and maintain full compliance with onboarding requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Registered Nurse experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR communication
• Ability to meet full compliance requirements, with all onboarding documents submitted by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Prior experience in a high-acuity telemetry setting with cardiac and vascular patient populations
