Bartender

Responsible for providing a positive and friendly bar experience. Prepares and provides mixed drinks, beer and wine offerings, as well as full dining service from the restaurant. Our friendly team at PJ's is looking to add energetic and experienced Bartenders with knowledge of contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine and we want you to join us. What You'll Do To create a positive experience for our guests, you will: Greets guest, takes beverage orders, and prepares drinks as requested. Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and promotes a positive image of Sentry facilities. Maintain a high-level of knowledge in wine, beer, mixed drink recipes, and other beverages. Check identification of guests to verify the age requirement for purchase of alcohol. Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare and maintain freshest garnishes for drinks. Offer and service the full restaurant menu to guests seated at the bar where appropriate. Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages. Collects payments for beverages served and balance all receipts What it Takes Age requirement of 21+ required High School Diploma or equivalent work experience. Previous bartending experience preferred Must be able to obtain a certification on responsible beverage service.
