HR Operations Lead - Hybrid Metuchen - Up to $150K

We are seeking an experienced HR Systems leader to oversee HR technology operations, reporting, and system optimization in a highly visible role. This is a unique opportunity to own the current platform (UKG) while playing a critical role in a major HR transformation and migration, positioning yourself as a strategic partner to both HR and the business. Description Serve as the primary HR systems subject matter expert, overseeing the day-to-day administration and optimization of the HR technology ecosystem Manage and maintain UKG Pro, including Core HCM, reporting, performance management, learning management, and time and attendance modules Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure efficient system performance and business continuity Oversee HR technology integrations and third-party system connections across HR platforms Translate business requirements into functional and technical system solutions Develop and enhance HR reporting, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support decision-making Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve the employee experience through technology Partner closely with HR, IT, and business leaders to align technology solutions with organizational goals Support change management, system adoption, and end-user training initiatives during system transitions Profile 10+ years of experience in HRIS, HR technology, systems administration, or related functions Strong hands-on experience configuring and maintaining UKG Pro, particularly Core HCM Experience supporting additional UKG modules such as Performance Management, Learning Management, Time & Attendance, or Reporting preferred Demonstrated ability to manage system releases, testing protocols, integrations, and vendor relationships Experience participating in HR technology transformations, implementations, or migrations Strong understanding of HR operations and the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions Experience with HR analytics, reporting, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced environment Job Offer Base salary up to $150k + bonus Comprehensive benefits package, 401(k) match, generous PTO, learning and development resources, wellness programs, and a strong commitment to inclusion and flexible work arrangements Highly visible role supporting enterprise-wide HR technology initiatives Opportunity to own and stabilize the current UKG environment while influencing future-state HR technology strategy Direct involvement in a large-scale Oracle HCM transformation over the next 12-24 months Ideal for someone who wants to evolve beyond pure HRIS administration and become a long-term HR technology leader Hybrid schedule (2 days onsite in New Jersey) MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
