Schedule: 5-8's Monday - Friday
Assignment Details: Contract Weeks: 13 Guaranteed Hours: 38
Requirements:
- Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP registration) is required.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Cytotechnologist.
- Ability to screen an average of 60-80 slides per day.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates technical skill in all aspects of cytology processing, preparation, and staining.
- Screens PAPs and non-GYN slides, averaging 40-80 slides per day.
- Assists in specimen collection as requested.
- Maintains computerized patient records.
- Diagnosis consistency within one grade of Pathologist or Consultant diagnosis.
