Speech Language Pathologist - In-House Skilled Nursing Silver Spring, MD, US 6 days ago Requisition ID: 1191 Salary Range: $50.00 To $55.00 Hourly Speech Language Pathologist – In-House Skilled Nursing Facility (Full Time, Part Time, PRN) Job Description Provide speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication services to residents in a skilled nursing or short-term rehabilitation setting. Evaluate, develop treatment plans, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document progress, and meet regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program. Current SLP license in MD/VA. Experience in a skilled nursing or short-term rehab setting preferred; new graduates are welcome. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for patient-centered care. Proficiency in technology-driven patient care and HRIS and timekeeping/attendance software. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. Major Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s rehabilitation goals. Collaborate with other therapy professionals to provide comprehensive care. Document patient progress in compliance with state and federal regulations.
