Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound exams, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts scanning.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, clearly communicating each step of the procedure with empathy and understanding.
• Engage with radiologists and referring doctors to ensure the highest standards of diagnostic imaging.
• Efficiently operate and maintain imaging machinery, promptly notifying of any technical issues.
• Document procedures thoroughly and manage patient records within the electronic medical record system.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in sonographic techniques and best practices.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field.
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or comparable body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
