Join our team as a Senior Desk Adjuster! In this role, you will handle losses and claims valued up to $15,000 for property and casualty insurers. Your expertise will be vital in examining documents, records, and loss reports to ensure a thorough and efficient claims process. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate insurance policies and claims forms to determine coverage. Conduct investigations by inspecting damages and consulting official reports. Communicate with claimants and witnesses to gather essential information. Estimate repair costs and negotiate settlements based on carrier instructions. Prepare detailed reports of findings and handle necessary regulatory documents. Issue settlement checks and manage salvage and subrogation issues. Participate in litigation and revise case reserves as needed. Utilize technology and automation tools for efficient case management. Send larger claims needing authority approval to leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. IIA AIC designation required within 12–18 months of hire. Must possess an appropriate state adjuster license. A minimum of 3 years of related experience. Skills in communication, analysis, organization, and negotiation are essential. Work Environment: This position offers flexibility with remote work after training.
