Job Responsibilities

• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Engage closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide holistic, comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and families in therapy techniques to support their ongoing recovery at home.
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment approaches as necessary to ensure patients' continued progress.

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Necessary Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
