Service Technician - Commercial HVAC

We're seeking a Service Technician - Commercial HVAC in Central Coast, CA to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact

Keep commercial HVAC systems running through expert service and repair.

Minimize downtime for customers across healthcare, retail, and office markets.

Build trust through clean diagnostics and clear communication.

Mentor apprentices and junior techs.

Responsibilities

Service RTUs, split systems, VRF, chillers, boilers, and pumps.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls issues.

Perform preventive maintenance per scope.

Recover, evacuate, and recharge refrigerant per EPA standards.

Document service calls in field service software.

Communicate clearly with dispatchers, customers, and PMs.

Participate in on-call rotation as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle.

Requirements

Must-Haves

3+ years of commercial HVAC service.

EPA Universal refrigerant certification.

Strong electrical and controls troubleshooting.

Valid driver's license with clean MVR.

OSHA 10 or 30.

Nice-to-Haves

VRF, chiller, or boiler factory training.

BAS/controls exposure.

Refrigeration experience.
