We are committed to your ongoing professional development, offering daily supervision opportunities for non-independently licensed clinicians and clinical consultation for our independent staff. Because we value professional self-reliance, our reimbursement rates are among the highest in the region. We prioritize financial reliability by processing payroll bi-weekly based on sessions conducted, ensuring you are paid regardless of insurance claim cycles. Additionally, we protect your time by providing compensation for no-show appointments whenever the associated fee is collected. In this role, you will: Provide evidence-based therapy sessions to a variety of populations, both individuals and couples Manage a caseload of at least 15 attended client sessions per week (part-time or full-time optional) Complete documentation on time, in line with office policies Administer and build assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans consistent with clinical and administrative policies Actively participate in organizational trainings and professional development Promote, support, and demonstrate AFC’s values through both behavior and job performance, adhering to policies, procedures, compliance plans, and standards of conduct on a day-to-day basis Perks and Benefits: Compensation: $45-$60/hour, commensurate with experience and licensure Part-time or full-time contract options Flexible scheduling: your schedule, your time Hybrid model: fully telehealth/remote (optional) or in-person, based on your preference and availability Unlimited CEUs, including state-required CEUs Multiple weekly supervision opportunities Comprehensive training programs for couples and sex therapy in a small-group setting Qualifications & Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Active NM clinical license (LMHC, LAMFT, LPCC, LMFT, or LACSW, LCSW) or open to working towards NM licensure Experience in any of the following treatment modalities is beneficial: Solution-Focused Therapy CBT | DBT | ACT EMDR Health psychology (chronic health issues or pain management) Marriage and Family Therapy Independent Contractor Status At Albuquerque Family Counseling, we partner with our clinicians as independent contractors. This means you’ll enjoy the freedom to create a schedule that works best for you, choose the mix of clients that feels right, and bring your own professional style to your work. As this is a contractor role, traditional employee benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, or paid time off are not included.
