NOC Administrator

Job Summary OT NOC Administrator (Tier 1): Monitor Operational Technology (OT) systems for alarms and incidents to ensure system availability and reliability. Provide first-level support and basic troubleshooting for critical OT environments. Escalate complex issues to engineering teams as required. Use monitoring and alerting tools to track system performance and identify issues. Respond to and document incidents, resolutions, and operational procedures. Diagnose and resolve basic system, network, and application problems. Collaborate with technical teams, following escalation processes and maintaining effective communication. Work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to provide 24/7 support. Apply knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching) in support tasks. Leverage familiarity with OT systems such as SCADA, PLCs, and HMIs. Maintain accurate records and documentation for incidents and troubleshooting activities.

• Preferred) Support OT cybersecurity efforts, Windows Server administration, OT infrastructure maintenance, and industrial control systems.
• Preferred) Utilize relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, ISA/IEC 62443).

Education/Experience Requirements: Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Experience in a NOC, Operations Center, or similar technical support setting. Strong verbal and written communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. Additional Notes: Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
