Drivers are either assigned a delivery route or transport truckloads of ice to specific customer locations. The delivery region, route, and type of equipment operated is subject to change depending on business needs.This is a full-time, permanent position with Reddy Ice that includes a competitive hourly wage, a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matching 401(k) plan. Health and Wellness benefits available on your first day of employment.Education & Experience Required:Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalentMust have a current/valid class A CDL licenseMust possess driving record that meets or exceeds company-qualifying standardsA minimum of one (1) year experience as a driver in a vehicle similar to which you will be assigned to operate during the time of employment with the company is requiredEducation & Experience Preferred:Three years previous route delivery driver or DSD experienceWorking Conditions/Physical Requirements:Must be able to drive in stressful environments. Unloads, loads, and rotates product in merchandisers / iceboxes. Required to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day. Required to work in all weather conditions. Weekend, night, and holiday work is a requirement of the position. Will perform work in retail stores; frequently driving between retail stores and plant location. Overtime may be required. Work is conducted in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.Location:Bryan, Texas
