Commercial Loan Specialist

Introduction Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Wholesale Operations and Syndicated Lending teams. This hybrid position offers a mix of in-office and remote work, providing a balanced work environment. We are seeking self-motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced lending environment. Must-Have Skills:

- Applicants must be able to work directly on a W2 basis.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration.
- Good communication skills
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
- Proficient in Excel for reconciliations, interest calculations, and fee schedules.
- 4 years of working experience relevant to loans, trading, syndication, underwriting, or related fields.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with account numbers, rates, and dates.
- Proficient in Excel for handling reconciliations, interest accruals, and fees.
- Self-motivated and driven to learn quickly and efficiently.
- Experience with loan processing related to syndicated lending, underwriting, and comprehensive knowledge of conventional, commercial, and government loans.
- Experience with Loan IQ or similar tools such as AFS, ACDS, Flexcube, or Flexpay.
- Background in mathematics, statistics, finance, or marketing.
- Process trades and communicate with lenders and borrowers.
- Handle advances, apply interest and principal payments, and reprice loans.
- Perform reconciliations and calculate interest accruals.
- Review documentation and ensure accuracy before sending trades for approval.
