Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) Location: Not specified. This position involves providing care on a medical-surgical floor within a short-term acute care facility, working in a fast-paced environment that supports a full range of internal medicine and post-operative patients. The role requires flexibility to float between units and adherence to block scheduling, with night shifts scheduled for 12 hours, a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Position Description: Block 1st timer for MS RN, requiring the ability to float between units, working nights.
• Required Qualifications: Valid state license; minimum of 1 year of medical-surgical experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; familiarity with charting in Epic; at least 1 year of travel or clinical experience; capable of working night shifts for 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours weekly.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to work a minimum of three of the five requested holidays. Applicants must have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant setting, and references covering at least 1 year within the last three years are required. Candidates should not contact the facility directly unless coordinated, and must be willing to float between sister facilities if needed.
• Submission Requirements: Include responses to whether the candidate has previously worked at a Providence facility, along with two recent references covering at least one year during the last three years.
