Social Media Strategist, Content Creator

Develop and execute social media strategies for client accounts Plan and manage content calendars aligned with overall marketing goals Create social media content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Capture photo and video content during in-person shoots (events, offices, brand sessions, etc.) Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, LinkedIn clips, etc.) Write captions and manage posting and scheduling across platforms Monitor content performance and make recommendations to improve engagement and results Collaborate with internal team to align social media with broader campaigns and initiatives Repurpose long-form content (blogs, videos, podcasts) into social-ready assets Stay on top of trends and proactively suggest new content ideas Ensure all content is on-brand, high-quality, and aligned with client strategy Requirements Social Media Strategy Experience: Developing and managing social media strategies Content Creation Skills: Comfortable creating video and photo content Video & Editing Expertise: Independent shooting and editing using tools like CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar Platform Knowledge: Understanding of content performance across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts Creative & Performance Mindset: Generating content ideas with critical thinking about engagement and results Execution Ownership: Managing posting, scheduling, and day-to-day execution Strong Communicator: Collaborating well with a remote team and communicating clearly and proactively Reliable & Detail-Oriented: Managing deadlines effectively and ensuring polished content ready to publish Tampa Bay-Based: Must be located in the Tampa Bay, FL area for periodic in-person content shoots Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content across various platforms, and analyzing performance metrics to enhance engagement. Proficient in video shooting and editing, with a strong focus on collaboration and detail-oriented execution.
