A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Certified Perinatal Doula- Correctional Facilities.
- Pay Rate - $35.00 an hour
- Location - Cambridge Springs, PA 16403
- Schedule: Not full-time; up to 15 hours per week
Overview:
This is a Doula Program from a pilot initiative to a permanent component of healthcare and programming at a Correctional Facility. The program provides emotional, educational, and physical support to incarcerated women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop birth plans and provide prenatal education
- Support labor and delivery
- Provide breastfeeding guidance and lactation support
- Screen for postpartum depression and mental health concerns
- Conduct prenatal and postpartum wellness visits
- Assist with re-entry planning, parenting resources, childcare, and housing referrals
- Utilize trauma-informed and client-centered approaches
- Coordinate with institutional medical and parenting staff
Qualifications:
- Certified Perinatal Doula certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board
- Minimum one (1) year of experience
