Job Details: Location – ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87113; Position Type – Full Time; Salary Range – $102,648.00 - $123,177.60 per year; Shift – Day; Job Category – IT. Position Summary Responsible for assisting the Director of Information Technology (IT) with design, implementation and maintenance of the Sandia Resort & Casino/Sandia Pueblo Cyber Security, Datacenter and Network Infrastructure. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Establishes and implements Information Technology (IT) department and overall organizational policies, procedures, and standards and ensures their compliance. Provides ongoing formal reports to the Director of Information Technology (IT) regarding the status of network security, network software versions, data integrity, corporate anti-virus and disaster recovery. Plans and coordinates installation and maintenance for Sandia Casino, Sandia Pueblo LAN/WAN. Provides network and system training to other IT Specialists, IT Technicians and casino employees. Manages Windows systems to ensure revisions, changes, and updates to operating systems and servers and ensures compliance with system of internal controls and current gaming regulations. Maintains Cisco Core Network Software and Hardware and ensures 100% uptime of network devices. Maintains Network Security by ensuring procedures are implemented and enforced. Formally documents updates and changes for Sandia Casino, Sandia Pueblo server and network topology. Responsible for all enterprise backup systems and ensures 100% compliance with system backup and recovery internal controls. Adheres to all IT Internal Controls and Standard Operating Procedures. Ensures that all networks and server systems are available at all times and takes proactive steps to achieve 100% uptime. Annually reviews network and active directory security with management and revises security as necessary. Ensures patch management of critical software, hardware, definition updates are tested and implemented in a timely manner. Conducts regularly scheduled department stand‑ups. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility; all team members are expected to report to work based on the assigned schedule in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo Sandia. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as requested. Key Performance Indicators This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified as a measurement of success. KPIs will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPIs as part of the performance review process. Ability to create reports and maintain files. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Desktop, Microsoft Exchange, and Linux. Working knowledge of Cisco Systems hardware (Switches, Routers, Firewall) & Network Security Appliances. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications. Ability to work well with others. Qualifications Education and Experience Required: Associates degree in Information Systems, CIS (Computer Information Systems), Computer Science, Information Technology (IT) or related field. Two (2) years’ experience including: coordinating technical projects; administering a virtual server environment; administering a data storage environment including VSAN, SAN, NAS devices; knowledge of disaster recovery procedures and processes; LAN/WAN design and documentation; administration and management of Cybersecurity tools, including SIEM, SOAR, EDR, AV. Preferred: MCP, CCNA or other professional certification. License/Certifications/Registrations Must be able to obtain and maintain the required STGC Gaming License. Will require a pre‑employment and random drug screening.
