Smokin J's BBQ is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer focused servers to join our FOH team at our Poway location. We are looking for people who are capable of adding an elevated level of service to our high-paced, quick-service restaurant. Pay is $22.90-29.90/hour ($16.90/hour base pay plus $6-13/hour in tips) Health Insurance (we pay half!!) Paid Sick Leave (40 hours/year after 90 days employment) Discounted food and beverage "FULL SHIFT PROMISE": We will not send you home or cut your shift early even if we are slow! Responsibilities: Opening and/or closing procedures Taking orders, handling the POS system (Toast) and cash drawer Getting beverages (soda, beer, wine) for guests Running food and bussing tables Checking in on guests on patio and upselling additional items Ensuring the patio and bar always stays clean and organized Making to-go cups for sauces, ketchup, and other condiments Answering general customer questions Taking phone orders Requirements: Enthusiastic and friendly personality Strong organizational and team working skills Attention to detail and cleanliness Reliable transportation Physical Requirements: Walking and standing for 5-8 hour shifts Occasional bending Check us out Working at Smokin J's BBQ Health Insurance No Strict Dress Code Tips Pooled Tips Paid By Check
