International Strategy Analyst

Job Description Purpose of Job The International Strategy Analyst analyzes current and future international territories and worldwide markets by conducting research, identifying opportunities and risks, and developing strategic recommendations to help Interstate succeed in the international arena. Responsibilities Conduct in‑depth research on international territories worldwide and analyze competitor activities and market trends. Evaluate potential entry strategies, market opportunities, and pricing trends in current and future territories. Maintain International Department sales, financial dashboards, and pricing files. Develop and implement business strategies that align with organizational goals, identify and evaluate potential international expansion opportunities, and assist management in refining business plans. Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights; prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations. Monitor performance of international operations and identify areas for improvement. Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other departments to align on international strategies. Collaborate with external stakeholders such as government agencies and industry associations to promote international business interests. Manage international projects from concept to execution, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery and mitigating risks. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance preferred, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in distribution operations and/or financial analytics. Experience working with international business owners/operators. Proficient in Spanish; Portuguese/French a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Power BI, PowerPoint, Word, Excel and related tools for presentations, reports, and data analysis. Excellent organizational, analytical and problem‑solving skills with a goal‑oriented mindset. Proven project management skills: planning, directing, organizing, executing, coordinating multiple objectives under moderate supervision. Strong interpersonal skills, culturally aware, with ability to build consensus and drive change. Familiarity with international trade regulations, tariffs, and compliance requirements. Must possess a passport and be available to travel internationally up to 50% of the time. Scope Data Interact professionally with internal departments and external stakeholders, manage projects from start to finish, and carry out responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations. Work Environment Ability to maintain a seated posture for prolonged periods and perform manual handling. Regular verbal communication and auditory tasks; close vision required. Occasional lifting of 25+ lbs. Travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
