About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Global Direct Sales to lead its global direct-sales organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the direct-sales strategy in line with the company's commercial objectives. This role demands a leader with a strong executive presence, capable of owning the global direct-sales operating model, and driving measurable performance through quota ownership, pipeline rigor, and consistent execution. The VP will be tasked with expanding the customer base, acquiring new direct customers, and ensuring the delivery of clear, measurable sales targets. Strategic account management, customer segmentation, and direct seller productivity are also key focus areas. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA preferred, and at least 15 years of progressive direct B2B sales leadership experience. A proven track record in managing global sales teams, particularly in a technical, manufacturing software, CAM, or related environment, is essential. The role requires a leader with a strong background in complex Capex, subscription, and services offerings, and a history of success in scaling high-performing direct-sales teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the sales process, from direct account ownership to strategic account planning, and a demonstrated ability to improve direct seller productivity. Strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills are a must, as is the ability to work with a diverse, global team and maintain a customer-focused approach.
