Medical Assistant

Provide compassionate clinical and administrative support to physicians and patients at Alianza's Ceiba practice, with an 8-hour, Monday-through-Friday schedule. Responsibilities Assist physicians with patient intake, room preparation, and clinical support Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and medications accurately Prepare examination rooms, medical equipment, and supplies for daily patient care Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-up visits, and support front office workflows Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure patient information confidentiality Support patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care Assist with laboratory specimen collection, injections, and clinical procedures Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, HIPAA, and clinic protocols Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred Minimum 2 years Medical Assistant experience in physician practice, clinic, or healthcare Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, patient care procedures, and medical terminology Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferred Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred Ability to work effectively in fast-paced clinical environment Commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate patient care Be the Steady Hand Behind Great Patient Care As a Medical Assistant at Alianza Health Partners in Ceiba, you are the dependable presence that keeps the clinic moving and makes every patient feel cared for. Your eight-hour, Monday-through-Friday schedule gives you a real life outside of work — no weekends, no rotating shifts. Bilingual, On the Ground in Ceiba This role is on-site in Ceiba, serving a community where English and Spanish move in and out of every conversation.
