As the Roofing Supervisor, you'll lead a team of approximately 6 roofing technicians, balancing hands-on field leadership with administrative responsibilities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Details

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise daily roofing operations including repairs, leak response, inspections, and preventative maintenance
• Assign and coordinate work orders across a designated portfolio of commercial properties
• Ensure crews meet productivity, quality, and safety expectations
• Perform field quality control inspections and troubleshoot roofing issues
• Review, prioritize, and manage work orders using Yardi
• Approve employee timecards and ensure labor hours are accurately tracked in Paylocity
• Process expenses using Expensify
• Monitor project costs and ensure work stays within approved budgets
• Coordinate material procurement and inventory needs
• Mentor, coach, and develop roofing technicians through ongoing training and performance management
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth
• Partner with internal departments and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and project records
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards

What We're Looking For:
We're looking for a true commercial roofing expert who can lead by example and has earned the respect of field crews through experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial roofing supervisory experience
• Strong hands-on experience with commercial roofing systems including: TPO, EPDM, Modified Bitumen, Built-Up Roofing (BUR), Other flat roofing systems
• Ability to diagnose roofing problems and provide effective repair solutions
• Experience leading crews, managing productivity, and maintaining quality standards
• Proficiency with: Yardi, Paylocity, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Roof coating experience
• Experience using Expensify
• Preventative maintenance program experience
• Budget and work order management experience
