The ideal candidate will be alicensed psychologist (licensure in Indiana a plus) with at leastone year of experience working in a university counseling center orwith young adults. Experience with testing/assessment or workingwith anxiety disorders, trauma or substance use disorders isdesirable. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Position Function: Provide individual and group counseling;outreach/consultation services for Ball State University students,faculty, and staff; conduct supervision, training and performadministrative duties as assigned; serve on unit and universitycommittees as appointed and assigned. Job Duties: Provide individual and group counseling services tostudents. Provide outreach/consultation services as assigned. Provide supervision and instruction to students in accreditedtraining programs. Provide university and community service. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: A.B.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from both a programand internship that are A.P.A.-accredited; Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D. orsimilar degree must be completed 6 months of employment. Completion of A.P.A.-accredited internship. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to beemployed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Completed Ph.D., Psy.D. or Ed.D. in clinical or counselingpsychology from a program and internship that is A.P.A.accredited. One year of experience providing therapy to college students oryoung adult population. Experience working with athletes, anxietydisorders, testing/assessment, trauma, or substance use disordersis highly desirable. Licensed psychologist in Indiana.
