PT - Physical Therapist

Acute Care Physical Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

4x10-hour shifts, Sunday to Wednesday from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM.

We are seeking a dedicated Acute Care Physical Therapist to provide rehabilitative care to our patients. The therapist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to manage moderate to maximum assistance patients, co-treatments, and will have the ability to work with ventilated patients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions in accordance with prescribed care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapy processes and home exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have a current license in the state of Arizona.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting is mandatory.
• Must be comfortable managing patients with varying levels of physical assistance needed.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
