Platform Integration Engineer

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Platform Integration Engineer in Orlando, FL for a 6 month contract role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is a temporary assignment with the option for continued support depending on performance. The role supports platform integration, system integration lab events, electrical testing, hardware integration, and troubleshooting of interface challenges.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of integration experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and executing test plans
• Minimum of 5 years of electrical testing experience
• Minimum of 5 years of hardware integration experience
• Familiarity with Interface Control Documents
• Experience executing System Integration Lab events using test equipment and test procedures
• Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters
• Ability to use parsing scripts
• Ability to troubleshoot interface challenges

What You'll Do

• Plan, implement, test, document, and maintain solutions for integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems
• Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Establish functional and technical specifications and standards
• Solve hardware and software interface problems
• Define input and output parameters and ensure integration of the entire system or subsystem
• Review, evaluate, and derive requirements for testability
• Develop and direct preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for complete systems and subsystems
• Coordinate subsystem and system testing activities with programs and other organizations
• Analyze test results and prepare subsystem and system-level evaluation reports to verify and validate system performance
• Write discrepancy reports and perform integration regression testing to verify and validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems, and systems
