Cath lab tech / LVN, EMT-P - North

Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technician

Performs all required procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab and operates specialized equipment including; but not limited to; the computer system; hemodynamic monitoring; and have working knowledge of cardiac catheterization lab.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an appropriate accredited program or health science degree preferred.

Minimum Work Experience: LVN; EMT-P; ARRT; or 2 years consecutive cath lab experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications: BLS within 30 days of hire. ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Required Skills; Knowledge; and Abilities:

• Answer telephones
• Input data into computer programs
• Compile statistics
• Maintain patient charts
• Previous diagnostic experience
• Generate reports
• Working knowledge of viewing equipment
• Working knowledge of hemodynamic equipment and able to problem solve basic error messages
• Working knowledge of sterile procedures
• Must be operational in (2) positions within 1 year
