Community Relations Assistant - Entry-Level

We are seeking a motivated and personable Community Relations Assistant to support our community outreach efforts. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building relationships, organizing local events, and making a positive impact within the community .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing community outreach programs, events, and local initiatives
• Engage directly with community members to promote organizational programs and services
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue booking, vendor coordination, and on-site event support
• Prepare and distribute printed promotional materials within the community
• Respond to community questions, feedback, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure outreach efforts align with organizational goals
• Maintain accurate records and reports of community engagement activities and event participation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
