As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol Driver DoD in Roy, UT , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge procedures is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
