Part‑Time Associate Veterinarian – Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital Join our team as a Part‑Time Veterinarian with predictable hours and a consistent home hospital assignment. Enjoy flexibility while working alongside a locally led care team supported by national resources. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and medical work‑ups. Perform diagnostic procedures and surgical interventions. Maintain accurate and complete medical records. Prescribe medications and adhere to controlled substance protocols. Communicate effectively with clients and provide education and support. Promote teamwork and staff efficiency. Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations. Evaluate and monitor protocols to ensure daily hospital operations run smoothly. Attend daily rounds when possible to uphold the highest quality standards. Participate in practice‑management updates and training at all levels. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications (Required) Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university. Current State Veterinary License. DEA registration must be obtained and maintained. At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary practice. Strong diagnostic and clinical skills. Proficient surgical and dental skills. Ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with staff and clients. Commitment to providing compassionate and high‑quality veterinary care. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Demonstrated clinical knowledge across all major examinations. Problem‑solving skills for high‑quality hospital management. Ethical judgment in patient and practice decision-making. Commitment to continuing education and facilitation of learning for others. Salary Overview Full‑time salary range: $160,000 – $180,000.
