§ Conduct in vitro and ex vivo microbiological tests on raw ingredients and consumer products.
§ Maintain bacterial cultures and perform bacterial assays.
§ Run biological assays including cell viability, bacterial plating, genomics, et al.
§ Analyze lab data, perform simple stat analysis and draft reports to summarize in vitro tests.
Qualifications & Skills
§ Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field (recent graduates within the past 3-5 years preferred; Chemistry degree strongly preferred)
§ Previous laboratory experience preferred
§ Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments required
§ Ability to quickly learn new procedures
§ Strong adherence to SOPs with an emphasis on reliable and accurate data collection
§ Excellent documentation skills for consistent and precise data recording
§ Capable of performing routine tasks daily in a professional lab setting
§ Bachelor Degree in Biology, Biochemistry and related majors.
§ Skills in microbial culture (liquid and plating), microscope use, making culture medium, basic sterile technique.
§ Computer skills in using Google spreadsheet/doc/slides, data analysis
§ Ability to interact with multifunctional technical/non-technical personnel and be an effective participant in a team environment
§ Exhibit good presentation, communication and project management skills, potentially managing multiple projects with different timelines and goals
