As a Cook in our casual dining establishment, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking menu items to ensure a high-quality dining experience. Working within a small kitchen team and under the supervision of the Head Chef, you will contribute to maintaining kitchen cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards during evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food items according to menu specifications
- Execute recipes consistently and maintain food quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Ensure compliance with food safety laws and regulations
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handlers certification
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of cooking experience
- Strong skills in food preparation and kitchen safety
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and recipe execution
- Excellent time management and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail in food presentation and quality
