Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A closed-door Long Term Care (LTC) pharmacy in Topeka, KS, is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support their ongoing operations. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-quality patient care while working in a focused LTC pharmacy environment.
Schedule:
Thursdays & Fridays
Shift: 9 AM – 6 PM
Responsibilities:
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) tasks to ensure medication safety and compliance
Conduct cycle checks to maintain accurate medication dispensing processes
Verify prescriptions and ensure proper documentation and adherence to regulations
Qualifications:
Active Kansas Pharmacist License with a clear, no negative history record
Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacist experience; Long Term Care experience preferred, but recent graduates and retail experience candidates are encouraged to apply
Ability to start as soon as possible
This role is Contract to Hire, providing a pathway to a permanent position in a specialized LTC pharmacy setting.
